3D CHARACTER MODELING

In this exercise, I built an orc model using some orc pictures as a reference. I learned how to use sculpting tools and how to covert high poly models into low poly models. Moreover, I also learned how to use the bake tools, UV mapping, and more techniques. 

When the Orc model was finished, I added the armature structure. In the end, I chose to use the automatic character rigging provided by Mixamo.com to make a short action video.

I also have some images of the process when I was making this Orc character.

This is my first personal exercise project using Blender. I try to build a simple version using the RX-75 Guntank as a reference.

TIGERX - IN PROCESS

3D CHARACTER MODELING

After the Orc 3d-modeling Project, I want to build another model using the same technique. The model will mainly refer to Tigerx in a game named Monster Hunter. This personal project aims to create a model I like and consolidate the skills I have learned in Orc Project.

 

The Tigerx is temporarily added with a random color and a light set because I want to see the result. That Orc was imported in my last project to create size comparisons. The next step is to make further modifications in detail on the Tigerx. I might make small changes in the detail rather than make it identical to the original Tigerx.
